I’ve been trying to make calipers that can make really small measurements for years now – it’s harder than it looks. These circular micro-calipers are one of the results that worked out quite well… although I suspect they might work better as jewellery than as an actual measuring tool. That said… they do work as a measuring tool, and can measure distances right down to zero.
They are made from hand-brushed stainless-steel, with a brass rivet, and come in two sizes – 2 inches or 3 inches change to mm and includes a laser-cut acrylic case. The calipers have holes where you can attach a chain or cord 1/2 way up the arms.
I have a relatively small number of these left – about 20 or so of each size.
